A DeLand resident for 35 years, Pat Johnson, has been in business
since 2003. Since the inception of The Creative Needle, Pat has
made it her goal to strive to the highest levels of proficiency in
drapery fabrication by pursuing additional knowledge in business
techniques in the field of design and fabrication.
She has completed a Career Professional Course through the
Custom Home Furnishings Academy (CHFA) in North Carolina
as well as several business classes through the CHFA. Pat also holds
certification as a Certified Workroom Professional which indicates
expertise in the field of fabrication (covering textile information, safety
standards, fabrication techniques, customer relations, window
treatment knowledge and product applications).

Pat is currently a member of the DRAPERY & DESIGN PROFESSIONAL forum, as well as an active member of Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA). She is currently the president of the Orlando Chapter of WCAA.

Bill Johnson, Pat's husband of many years, is a retired electrical engineer who takes pride in measuring for each new project and then installing the custom window treatment. He has been installing window treatments for The Creative Needle for 8 years.
